The bachelor thesis deals with the employment of seniors in the Czech Republic. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to classify and evaluate factors that affect the employment of human resources with a focus on employability of persons over 60 in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with a deeper explanation of the term senior, where the age, and subsequent changes that occur during the transition to old age, are characterized. It also deals with retirement issues and changes related to that. The following part consequently deals with the motivation and needs of the elderly and also with the position of seniors in the labor market together with the assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. The quantitative research is carried out in the practical part, where the factors that influence the employment of seniors in the Czech Republic are determined using data obtained from questionnaires.
