Abstrakt:
This diploma thesis goes into the topic of 8 Wastes of Lean in the context of the service environment. The research suggests the possibility of identifying and eliminating Wastes by active engagement with employees. Besides, it explores the opportunity of process improvement and efficiency increase through employee motivation and specific type of manager’s’ behaviour. The research explores lean wastes within one particular company and aims to contribute to its internal processes’ improvement. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in order to gather the data. MAXQDA software was used for the analysis.
