| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zhodnotit úpravy Městské knihovny Nymburk s důrazem na modernizaci z konce roku 2025, a to jak z pohledu vedení knihovny a jejích zaměstnanců, tak z uživatelského pohledu čtenářů. Knihovna Nymburk sídlí v budově bývalého kina, to se ale časem ukázalo jako prostorově nevyhovující, a proto byly provedeny dvě rekonstrukce (v letech1992 a 2025), které přizpůsobily interiérové prostory budovy bývalého kina pro potřeby městské knihovny. Rekonstrukce ukazují snahu o využití původní budovy, která se však v čase musí uzpůsobovat novým službám, technickým trendům a společenským potřebám doby. Míra spokojenosti současných návštěvníků knihovny Nymburk je relativně vysoká. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this study is to evaluate the renovations of the Nymburk Municipal Library, with a focus on the renovation completed in late 2025, from the perspectives of both the library’s management and staff, as well as from its users’ perspective. The Nymburk Library is housed in a former movie theater, which over time proved to be spatially inadequate, leading to two renovations (in years 1992 and 2025) that adapted the interior dispositions of the former theater to the needs of the municipal library. These renovations demonstrate an effort to utilize the original building, which, however, must adapt over time to new services, technological trends, and the social needs of the era. The level of satisfaction among current visitors to the Nymburk Library is relatively high. |
