| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na podmínky vstupu do oboru speciálních maskérských efektů a možnosti působení na českém audiovizuálním trhu. Cílem práce je zmapovat současnou podobu tohoto odvětví a identifikovat bariéry, které omezují uplatnění českých tvůrců na mezinárodních projektech natáčených v České republice. Výzkum je realizován formou kvalitativního šetření skrze hloubkové rozhovory s deseti maskéry speciálních efektů, kteří v oboru aktuálně aktivně působí. Závěry potvrzují, že absence systematického vzdělání, jazykové a finanční bariéry i specifická struktura servisního audiovizuálního trhu přímo omezuje připravenost domácích talentů na vstup a následné uplatnění v profesi. Tato kombinace faktorů limituje konkurenceschopnost domácích specialistů v mezinárodním prostředí a omezuje jejich zapojení do zahraničních projektů natáčených v České republice. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the entry requirements for the special effects makeup field and career opportunities in the Czech audiovisual industry. The goal of the thesis is to map the current state of this industry and identify the barriers in the participation of Czech artists in international projects filmed in the Czech Republic. The research is conducted as a qualitative study though in-depth interviews with ten special effects makeup artists who are currently active in the field. The findings confirm that the absence of systematic education, language and financial barriers, and the specific structure of the audiovisual services market directly limit the readiness of domestic talent to enter and subsequently succeed in the profession. This combination of factors limits the competitiveness of domestic specialists in the international environment and restricts their involvement in foreign projects filmed in the Czech Republic. |
