Abstract:

Abstract:
This master's thesis evaluates and develops the quality of wellness services in the Czech Republic. The main objective is to identify specific service quality gaps based on attitudinal segmentation of consumers and to propose systemic recommendations for the development of the sector. The research sample consisted of 163 active domestic customers, with data collected via an online questionnaire. Data analysis utilized descriptive statistics, multivariate cluster analysis, and the service quality gaps model. The research identified four distinct customer segments and defined their unique barriers, motivations, and expectations. The main results include a significant interest in scientifically-backed diagnostics and digital detox, which currently represents a major gap in the market offering. The primary contribution of the thesis lies in proposing specific quality-improvement business projects based on European standards, national quality programmes, and professional qualification frameworks.
