| Abstract: | Digitalizace se stává běžnou součástí českého zdravotnictví a Národní strategie elektronického zdravotnictví ČR 2025–2035 vymezuje její další rozvoj, který má podobu postupné systémové reformy. Strategie zároveň klade důraz na to, aby si zdravotnictví i v rámci této reformy zachovalo svou přístupnost. Některé zranitelné skupiny, jako jsou starší dospělí, však čelí digitální propasti. Digitalizované zdravotní služby tak mohou pro starší dospělé vytvářet bariéry při jejich využívání, přestože právě oni patří k častým uživatelům zdravotní péče. Mým cílem proto bylo porozumět tomu, jak tyto bariéry reflektují starší dospělí, jak je vnímají zdravotničtí pracovníci a pracovníci v sociálních službách podporující jejich digitální gramotnost, proč vznikají a co může adaptaci usnadnit. Pro porozumění subjektivní zkušenosti starších dospělých a expertů jsem zvolila kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii založenou na kombinovaných polostrukturovaných rozhovorech doplněných o zúčastněné pozorování. Identifikované bariéry jsem uspořádala od individuálních přes kulturně-kognitivní a strukturální až po sociální a interpretovala je prostřednictvím Bourdieuovy teorie forem kapitálu. Z výzkumu přitom vyplynulo, že adaptaci starších dospělých na digitální zdravotní služby mohou usnadnit srozumitelný a stabilní systém, osobní podpora a zachování lidského kontaktu. |

| Abstract: | Digitalization is becoming a common part of Czech healthcare, and the National Electronic Healthcare Strategy 2025–2035 defines its further development, which takes the form of a gradual systemic reform. The Strategy also emphasizes that healthcare should remain accessible throughout this reform. However, some vulnerable groups, such as older adults, face a digital divide. Digitalized healthcare services may therefore create barriers for older adults, even though they are among the most frequent users of healthcare services. My aim was therefore to understand how older adults reflect on these barriers, how they are perceived by healthcare professionals and social service workers who support their digital literacy, why they arise, and what can facilitate adaptation. To understand the subjective experiences of older adults and experts, I adopted a qualitative research strategy based on combined semi-structured interviews supplemented by participant observation. I organized the identified barriers from individual through cultural-cognitive and structural to social barriers and interpreted them through Bourdieu’s theory of forms of capital. The research revealed that older adults’ adaptation to digital healthcare services can be facilitated by a comprehensible and stable system, personal support, and the preservation of human contact. |
