| Abstract: | Cílem mé bakalářské práce je charakterizovat obchodní a kulturní specifika Irska. První kapitola je věnována obecné charakteristice země, obsahuje přehled o geografii, historii, politické situaci, obyvatelstvu, členství Irska v mezinárodních organizacích a ekonomické situaci. Druhá kapitola pojednává o kulturních aspektech Irska v návaznosti na kulturní dimenze Geerta Hofstedeho. Dále se kapitola věnuje způsobu života, státním svátkům, umění a památkám. Třetí kapitola se zabývá přípravou a průběhem obchodního jednání s irským partnerem a obchodní etiketou. |

| Abstract: | The aim of my bachelor thesis is to characterise business and cultural specifics of Ireland. The first chapter deals with the general characteristics of Ireland, it includes information about geography, history, political situation, residents, membership in international organisations and economic situation. The second chapter introduces cultural aspects of Ireland connected with the cultural dimensions according to Geert Hofstede. In addition, the chapter focuses on the way of life, bank holidays, art and sights. The third chapter is about preparation and course of a business meeting with Irish business partner and about business etiquette. |
