| Abstract: | This thesis addressed a topic of modern working environments on an example of coworking spaces and their connection to fostering creativity in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. A theoretical background is assessed first as a study of coworking spaces, its emergence, and development both worldwide and in the Czech Republic. Moreover, positive and negative aspects yielding from coworking and a research gap in previous research studies conducted in connection to the creativity of individuals exposed to this environment are identified. For the practical part of the thesis, a qualitative method of data collection is used; in-depth semi-structured interviews are held with Czech freelancers and independent professionals in coworking spaces, coding, and analyzing data using thematic analysis. This enabled a better understanding of individuals’ thinking process behind choosing in favor of coworking spaces as a working environment; as well as concluded a correlation between coworking and creativity improvement. Moreover, a list of advantages and disadvantages of sampled coworking spaces was made, as well as a list of recommendations on topics to consider for individuals beginning their working experience in coworking spaces in Prague, Czech Republic, basing both on real-life experience and know-how of others. |

| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá tématem moderního pracovního prostředí na příkladu coworkingových prostor a jejich propojení s podporou kreativity v Praze. Teoretická východiska je nejprve hodnocena jako studie coworkingových prostorů, jejich vzniku a vývoje jak celosvětově, tak konkrétně v České republice. Kromě toho jsou identifikovány pozitivní a negativní aspekty vyplývající z coworkingu a mezera ve výzkumu v předchozích výzkumných studiích prováděných v souvislosti s kreativitou osob vystavených tomuto prostředí.V praktické části práce je použita kvalitativní metoda sběru dat; Probíhají hloubkové polostrukturované rozhovory s českými pracovníky na volné noze a nezávislými odborníky v coworkingových prostorech, kódování a analýzu dat pomocí tematické analýzy. To umožnilo lepší porozumění procesům myšlení jednotlivců, kteří se rozhodovali ve prospěch coworkingových prostorů jako pracovního prostředí; a také uzavřela korelaci mezi coworkingem a zdokonalováním kreativity. Kromě toho byl vytvořen seznam výhod a nevýhod coworkingových pracovních prostorů ve vzorku, jakož i seznam doporučení k tématům, která je třeba zvážit pro jednotlivce, kteří začínají pracovat v coworkingových prostorech v Praze v České republice, a to jak na základě reálných zkušeností, tak know-how druhých. |
