| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá auditem bank v České republice. V úvodní části je definován audit jako takový a jeho právní vymezení v ČR. Dále jsou popsány základní strategie, postupy a metody auditu. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány specifika auditu bank jako součástí finančních institucí, a jejich porovnání s jiným odvětvím podniků, např. s výrobním. Autor se dále zaměřuje především na vnitřní kontrolní systém bank, jeho vliv na externí audit, a na kontrolu řízení bankovních rizik. V praktické části je simulován audit fiktivní banky s názornými ukázkami vybraných oblastí kontrol a jejich testů. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on audit of banks in Czech Republic. Introductory part defines audit and it`s regulatory framework in Czech Republic, followed by the description of basic audit strategies, practices and methods. In theoretical part of the thesis are described specifics of audit of banks as part of financial institutions and their comparison to non-banking entities. Author focuses mainly on internal control system of banks, its impact on external audit and on control of banking risk management. Audit of fictive bank is simulated in practical part of the theses, with demonstrations of selected controls and their testing. |
