| Abstract: | Pojem Business Intelligence, zkráceně BI, se stává stále více skloňovaným napříč nejrůznějšími firemními prostředími. Tématem, kterým se bakalářská práce zabývá, je náhled na analýzu a implementaci řešení BI pro podnik působící na trhu balíkových přepravců. Cílem této práce je analyzovat podnikové řízení předního českého přepravce zásilek PPL CZ s. r. o. za účelem navržení aplikace BI řešící vybranou analytickou úlohu. V první části se práce zaobírá charakteristikou trhu přepravců zásilek dle nastudované literatury, načež jsou představeny hlavní zástupci tohoto trhu na českém území včetně společnosti PPL. Další část je věnována samotné analýze podnikového prostředí přepravní společnosti – jsou vymezeny klíčové metriky, dimenze a zdroje dat pro řešení BI spolu s požadavky společnosti na výslednou aplikaci, kterou je řešena konkrétní analytická úloha. Výsledkem práce je nakonec aplikace BI vytvořená za pomocí analytického nástroje Qlik Sense. |

| Abstract: | The term Business Intelligence (BI) has become frequently used within the corporate environment. The topic of this bachelor thesis is a look at analysis and implementation of BI solution for the company that is active in the field of parcel transport. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse corporate management system of the delivery service provider PPL CZ s. r. o. in order to design a BI application resolving chosen analytical task. In the first part of the thesis, the market of parcel transport is described according to the literature review. Then, the thesis introduces the main companies active on this field in the Czech Republic with special emphasis on company PPL. The following part is dedicated to the analysis of the corporate management of the chosen company – there are characterised the key performance indicators, dimensions and data sources of the BI solution together with company’s requirements for the final application that resolves the particular analytical task. Eventually, the outcome of the bachelor thesis is the application conducted through the analytics platform Qlik Sense. |
