| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce přibližuje českou kulturní diplomacii v Rakousku se zaměřením na dopady koronavirové pandemie. Předkládaná práce nabízí teoretické vymezení konceptu kulturní diplomacie z hlediska celkové struktury zahraniční politiky státu a současně ho staví do kontrastu s příbuznými pojmy. V druhé kapitole je prezentována současná česká kulturní diplomacie se zaměřením na Rakousko a její koncepční východiska. Rovněž se dostává prostoru klíčovým kulturnědiplomatickým aktérům, kteří působí v České republice a v Rakousku. Práce se v poslední kapitole zabývá vlivem pandemie COVID-19 na českou kulturní diplomacii. Vliv je zkoumán ze tří perspektiv - v evropském kontextu na úrovni sdružení EUNIC, z pohledu ústředí Českých center a na příkladu fungování Českého centra ve Vídni. Na základě těchto poznatků jsou vyvozeny jednotlivé dopady na kulturní diplomacii České republiky. Zejména je kladen důraz na krátkodobý i přetrvávající vliv pandemie koronaviru. Závěrem je predikován budoucí vývoj české kulturní diplomacie. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis presents Czech cultural diplomacy in Austria with a focus on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The thesis offers a theoretical definition of the concept of cultural diplomacy in terms of the overall structure of the state's foreign policy and at the same time contrasts it with related concepts. The second chapter presents contemporary Czech cultural diplomacy with a focus on Austria and its conceptual background. It also gives space to the key cultural diplomatic actors in the Czech Republic and Austria. The last chapter of the thesis deals with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Czech cultural diplomacy. The impact is examined from three perspectives - in the European context at the level of the EUNIC, from the perspective of the headquarters of the Czech Centres and on the example of the functioning of the Czech Centre in Vienna. On the basis of these findings, particular effects on the cultural diplomacy of the Czech Republic are drawn. In particular, emphasis is placed on the short-term and long-term impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. Finally, the future direction of Czech cultural diplomacy is predicted. |
