| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem obchodní politiky Spojených států amerických v průběhu 21. století, konkrétně v obdobích čtyř po sobě jdoucích prezidentských administrativ. Cílem práce je identifikovat klíčové strategické přístupy, nástroje a priority jednotlivých administrativ a zasadit je do kontextu dobových ekonomických a geopolitických podmínek. Na základě komparativní analýzy je hodnoceno, do jaké míry se obchodní politika USA v tomto období proměňovala a jaké faktory tyto změny ovlivňovaly. Práce ukazuje, že americká obchodní politika prošla posunem od liberalizačních strategií k selektivnímu protekcionismu a důrazu na ekonomickou bezpečnost. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis examines the evolution of U.S. trade policy throughout the 21st century, specifically during the terms of four consecutive presidential administrations. The aim of this thesis is to identify the key strategic approaches, instruments, and priorities of each administration and to situate them within the context of the economic and geopolitical conditions of the time. Based on a comparative analysis, the thesis assesses the extent to which U.S. trade policy has changed during this period and the factors that influenced these changes. The thesis demonstrates that U.S. trade policy has shifted from liberalization strategies toward selective protectionism and an emphasis on economic security. |
