| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na komparativní analýzu startupových ekosystémů v Estonsku a České republice. Výběr těchto zemí vychází z jejich společného postkomunistického vývoje a členství v EU, které umožňuje srovnání dopadů odlišných reforem. Cílem práce je zhodnotit jejich současný stav, identifikovat klíčové rozdíly a navrhnout doporučení pro posílení českého startupového prostředí. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy a hodnotí technologickou vyspělost obou zemí, čímž vytváří východisko pro analytickou část. Ta porovnává ekosystémy z hlediska investičního prostředí, regulačního rámce, podpůrné infrastruktury a dostupnosti informací. Výzkum vychází z kvalitativní i kvantitativní analýzy sekundárních dat, včetně mezinárodních databází, vládních strategií a online informačních zdrojů. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována roli digitalizace veřejné správy a vlivu regulačního rámce na fungování startupového prostředí. Práce přináší srovnávací přehled a přispívá k lepšímu pochopení rozdílů mezi startupovými ekosystémy ve střední a východní Evropě. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis focuses on a comparative analysis of startup ecosystems in Estonia and the Czech Republic. The selection of these countries is based on their shared post-communist development and membership in the European Union, which allows for a comparison of the impacts of different reforms. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate their current state, identify key differences, and propose recommendations to strengthen the Czech startup ecosystem. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and assesses the technological advancement of both countries, thereby providing a foundation for the analytical part. The analytical part compares the ecosystems in terms of the investment environment, regulatory framework, support infrastructure, and availability of information. The research is based on both qualitative and quantitative analysis of secondary data, including international databases, government strategies, and online information sources. Particular attention is paid to the role of public administration digitalization and the impact of the regulatory framework on the functioning of the startup environment. The thesis provides a comparative overview and contributes to a better understanding of the differences between startup ecosystems in Central and Eastern Europe. |
