| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem environmentální úzkosti u české generace Z se zaměřením na sociální sítě a vzdělání. Cílem výzkumu bylo objasnit souvislosti mezi prožíváním environmentální úzkosti a intenzitou užívání digitálních platforem, studijního zaměření respondentů. Metodika práce je založena na kvantitativním šetření (N = 394) za využití standardizovaných škál HEAS-13 a MTUAS. Data byla statisticky vyhodnocena v softwaru Jamovi. Výsledky potvrdily signifikantně vyšší míru úzkosti u žen nezávisle na čase stráveném online. Zatímco celkový čas na sociálních sítích s environmentální úzkostí nekoreluje, u platformy Instagram byl prokázán pozitivní vztah. Výzkum dále vyvrátil hypotézu o mezioborových rozdílech, ale odhalil negativní korelaci mezi stupněm dosaženého vzdělání a prožívanou environmentální úzkostí. |

| Abstract: | This Master's thesis explores the phenomenon of environmental anxiety among the Czech Generation Z, focusing on the influence of social media and education. The aim of the research was to clarify the connections between the experience of environmental anxiety, the intensity of digital platform usage, and the respondents' field of study. The methodology is based on a quantitative survey (N = 394) utilizing the standardized HEAS-13 and MTUAS scales, with data statistically analyzed in Jamovi software. The results confirmed a significantly higher level of anxiety in women, independent of time spent online. While total time spent on social media does not correlate with environmental anxiety, a positive relationship was proven specifically for the Instagram platform. Furthermore, the research did not support the hypothesis regarding interdisciplinary differences but revealed a negative correlation between the level of attained education and the intensity of experienced environmental anxiety. |
