| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou financování neziskových sportovních klubů v České republice, konkrétně v prostředí statutárního města Kladna a jeho okolí. Cílem práce je porozumět, jak struktura financování a míra závislosti na veřejných zdrojích ovlivňují strategické řízení, rozhodovací procesy a vnímání finanční stability sportovních klubů. Výzkum vychází z teoretických rámců resource dependence theory a stakeholder approach, které vysvětlují vztah mezi finančními zdroji a strategickým chováním organizací. Práce využívá kvalitativní přístup, konkrétně metodu případové studie. Empirická část je založena na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech s vedoucími sportovních klubů, které byly analyzovány pomocí tematické analýzy. Výzkum usiluje o hlubší pochopení postojů, motivací a strategií klubů v kontextu jejich finanční závislosti na veřejných dotacích. Přínosem je rozšíření poznatků o řízení neziskových sportovních organizací a formulace doporučení pro praxi - zejména pro samosprávy při na-stavování dotačních politik a pro samotné kluby při zajišťování finanční udržitelnosti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis addresses the issue of financing non-profit sports clubs in the Czech Republic, with a specific focus on the environment of the statutory city of Kladno and its surrounding area. The aim of the study is to understand how the structure of funding and the degree of dependence on public resources influence strategic management, decision-making processes, and the perception of financial stability within sports clubs. The research is grounded in the theoretical frameworks of resource dependence theory and the stakeholder approach, which explain the relationship between financial resources and organizational strategic behavior. The study adopts a qualitative research design, specifically a case study approach. The empirical part is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives of sports clubs, which were analyzed using thematic analysis. The research seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the attitudes, motivations, and strategies of clubs in the context of their financial dependence on public funding. The contribution of the thesis lies in extending knowledge on the management of non-profit sports organizations and in formulating practical recommendations-particularly for local governments in designing funding policies and for sports clubs in ensuring financial sustainability. |
