Web pro letní dětský tábor Sopka

Currently, and with an eye toward the future, summer camps for children and other similar organizations are being driven by society to communicate their activities increasingly effectively through digital communication tools. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and creation of a new website for the first camp session of the Sopka summer camp. The main objective of this thesis is to meet the requirements and expectations of the camp session management regarding the new website and thereby expand their communication channels with a new, long-term, sustainable primary communication tool that will replace the original, outdated website. In addition to the development process, this thesis examines the current state of the camp´s communication with its target audiences and, in the context of the new website, proposes new approaches to the camp´s communication and promotion. The result of this bachelor's thesis is a new website for the camp, which has been launched and is now live. The solution involves expanding the information architecture and context of the camp´s website, supported by functionalities specific to such a site. The greatest contribution of this thesis is seen in the practical application of its results, which simultaneously addressed the long-standing significant shortfall in the presentation of activities for the first session of the Sopka summer camp.
