Where to Go Next: Industry Analysis of Retail Property Companies in Czechia

This bachelor’s thesis will be describing the current state and future direction of the retail property industry in Czechia, with special focus on retail park sector. We will go through analysis of the Czech retail property sector with particular focus on retail property companies, their portfolios and the general market structure. This thesis will mention the retail property development and will also include the level of competition, overall investment attractiveness and the future outlook of this industry. It will be analyzed whether the Czech retail property sector remains a stable and promising area of investments, or if there are upcoming threats that could cause the market disruption. Main tools used in this thesis were the PESTEL analysis, Porter’s five forces analysis, market analysis and VRIO analysis. The expected contribution of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Czech retail property sector and be capable to identify the new trends. Our findings should help us understand the long-term outlook of the sector.
