The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of regional inequalities in Spain from the perspective of the labour market, with a primary focus on unemployment. The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyse regional differences in the Spanish labour market and to determine the causes and consequences arising from these inequalities. The theoretical part focuses on the spatial distribution of economic activities, the localisation of firms, and the formation of central places and agglomerations. Furthermore, the theoretical section addresses the topic of unemployment and its theoretical explanation. The practical part of the thesis specifically focuses on the case of Spain, analysing its economic indicators and the overall state of the economy. The central part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of Spanish regional disparities, with the main emphasis on unemployment, examining both the current and historical development at the level of individual regions. The analysis also includes the identification of the causes and consequences of the observed inequalities.
