Abstrakt:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vybraných ekonomických determinantů vnitřní migrace obyvatelstva v mimopražských krajích České republiky v letech 2009–2019. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem vybrané ekonomické faktory, konkrétně průměrná mzda, index cen nemovitostí, nezaměstnanost a intenzita bytové výstavby, ovlivňují saldo vnitřní migrace. Na základě provedené diagnostiky dat byl pro odhad parametrů zvolen model fixních efektů, který umožňuje zohlednit časově neměnné specifické charakteristiky jednotlivých krajů. S ohledem na zpožděnou reakci obyvatelstva na změny ekonomických podmínek byly všechny vysvětlující proměnné modelovány se zpožděním jednoho roku. Model byl odhadnut pomocí Whiteových robustních směrodatných chyb, které ošetřují výskyt heteroskedasticity. Analýza identifikovala statisticky významný vliv průměrné mzdy na migrační saldo, přičemž tento vztah vykazuje nelineární charakter. Vliv intenzity bytové výstavby se v modelu projevil jako statisticky významný a pozitivní, což potvrzuje roli nabídky bydlení jako stimulu migrace. Vliv indexu cen nemovitostí a míry nezaměstnanosti se po aplikaci robustních směrodatných chyb ukázal jako statisticky nevýznamný. Zjištění práce potvrzují, že ekonomické faktory, zejména mzdová úroveň a dostupnost bydlení, hrají v rozhodování o vnitřní migraci v českém regionálním kontextu klíčovou roli.

This bachelor’s thesis analyzes selected economic determinants of internal migration in regions of the Czech Republic outside of Prague from 2009 to 2019. The aim of the thesis was to determine how selected economic factors—specifically, average wages, the real estate price index, unemployment, and the intensity of housing construction—influence the net internal migration balance. Based on the data diagnostics performed, a fixed- effects model was chosen to estimate the parameters, as it allows for the consideration of specific characteristics of individual regions that remain constant over time. Given the population’s delayed response to changes in economic conditions, all explanatory variables were modeled with a one-year lag. The model was estimated using White’s robust standard errors, which account for the presence of heteroscedasticity. The analysis identified a statistically significant effect of average wages on the net migration balance, with this relationship exhibiting a nonlinear nature. The effect of housing construction intensity was found to be statistically significant and positive in the model, confirming the role of housing supply as a stimulus for migration. The effects of the real estate price index and the unemployment rate proved to be statistically insignificant after applying robust standard errors. The findings of this study confirm that economic factors, particularly wage levels and housing affordability, play a key role in decisions regarding internal migration in the Czech regional context.
