As these possibilities are mainly considered the savings accumulated through the state-supported pension products during the productive part of life. The theoretical part of this thesis therefore presents the current Czech pension system and its problems, which justify the necessity to prepare for retirement since a young age. Further, there are described differences between saving and investing and their effect on the savings valorisation over a long period. The subject of the practical part is primarily the characterization of supplementary pension savings and unit-linked insurance products. Following the characterization, the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these products has been demonstrated in the model cases, also regarding the expected changes in the field of pension products. In the practical part of the thesis, there are furthermore characterized new pension products, which are the incoming long-term investment product and the current pan-European Personal Pension Product, including their future possible benefits. |
