Redesign webových stránek tenisového klubu ASK Lovosice

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the redesign of the website of the tennis club ASK Lovosice. The aim is to create a user-friendly and clear website that facilitates orientation in information, makes the court reservation process more transparent, and better supports the club’s communication with parents of junior players, recreational tennis players and existing members. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of UX and UI design and introduces the Double Diamond design model, which forms the methodological framework of the thesis. In the analytical part, the current website is evaluated using a heuristic analysis based on Nielsen’s ten usability heuristics, a semi-structured interview with a stakeholder, and an analysis of selected competing tennis club websites supplemented by a SWOT analysis. Based on the synthesis of these findings, key target groups are defined and proto-personas and user journey maps are created. The practical part focuses on designing a new information architecture in the form of a sitemap, designing the user flow of the court reservation system, and creating low-fidelity wireframes and a high-fidelity prototype of the website in Figma. The design is validated through usability testing with selected users. The outcome of the thesis is a prototype of a new website that offers a clearer content structure, more comprehensible user journeys and a visually consistent user interface.
