Osoba oponující práci:
The main goal of the thesis is to analyze the level of readiness of the Czech Republic for the incoming fourth industrial revolution. Particular attention is paid to the economic and social area from the perspective of the Czech government. The work is based on the analysis of case studies and researches which have been already conducted. As a result, there are five recommendations for the Czech Republic that could potentially help in the process of implementation. At the same time, these recommendations could possibly help the Czech Republic to move closer to its desired goal of becoming the European technology leader by 2030. The Country For The Future, as the government has recently called it, should be ready. However, it is still lagging behind the world leaders, especially in terms of industrial excellence and the value system. Whether it will eventually be able to achieve its goals will depend on the government´s determination to fulfill its commitments and stick with the plan which promises a “better future”.
