| Abstrakt: | Práce se zabývá organizováním událostí, přesněji MICE cestovním ruchem, který patří mezi jeden z ekonomicky nejefektivnějších forem cestovního ruchu. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení významu MICE turismu pro Prahu se zaměřením na zhodnocení organizace a realizace studentského projektu, který byl součástí kongresu ICCA, který se v Praze konal v roce 2017. Zvolené téma je řešeno pomocí analýzy současné situace na trhu MICE cestovního ruchu, pomocí SWOT analýzy a rešerše odborné literatury. První část práce je úvodem do cestovního ruchu a event managementu z teoretického hlediska. Třetí kapitola je analýzou konkurenceschopnosti a potenciálu České republiky a Prahy pro pořádání MICE událostí, kde bylo pro srovnání využito několika ukazatelů (TTCI, GPI, SDG). Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována přímo 56. kongresu ICCA konanému v Praze roku 2017 a jeho částečnému vyhodnocení. Pátá kapitola je deskripcí studenty vytvořeného projektu „ICCA Pilots“, který byl realizován na kongresu a byl součástí předmětu 2CR418 Event management. Práce obsahuje ukázky vybraných projektů, které studenti vymysleli pro vytvoření wow efektu kongresu, propracovanou strategii transferů delegátů a popis spolupráce s dalšími studenty VŠE. |

| Abstrakt: | This MA Thesis deals with event organization, more specifically with MICE tourism that is one of the most economically efficient forms of tourism. The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the potential of Prague and the Czech Republic for organizing events focusing on the evaluation of an organization and implementation of a student project that was part of the ICCA Congress in 2017. The issue at hand was researched using analysis of the current situation of the MICE tourism and SWOT analysis. The first part of the thesis is an introduction to the tourism industry and event management within the theoretical point of view. The third chapter refers to an analysis of the competitiveness and potential of The Czech Republic within the organizing of MICE events. That information was researched by using indicators as TTCI, GPI, or SDG. The fourth chapter is dedicated to the 56th ICCA Congress held in Prague in 2017 and his partial evaluation. The last chapter refers to the project "ICCA Pilots" that was created and realized by the students of the University of Economics, Prague as a practical part of subject 2CR418 Event management. This thesis contains a demonstration of the projects made by students that led to enhance of the WOW effect of the ICCA Congress. |
