| Abstrakt: | Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl podat charakteristiku iniciativy Belt and Road a popsat její vliv na energetickou bezpečnost Číny. Jako metody jsou využity metoda komparativní analýza a syntéza. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce je vysvětlen pojem energetická bezpečnost, jsou popsány hrozby energetické bezpečnosti a rovněž jsou zkoumány indikátory a principy energetické bezpečnosti. V praktické části práce je již rozebírán energetický sektor ČLR z hlediska dílčích sektorů a dále popsána iniciativa BRI (Nová hedvábná stezka) a její využití pro energetickou bezpečnost Číny. Zároveň jsou zmíněna i rizika BRI, a to nejen z pohledu Číny, ale i z pohledu ostatních účastnických zemí. V závěru jsou v práci zmíněny kladné i záporné aspekty iniciativy BRI pro ČLR a další země. |

| Abstrakt: | The subject of this thesis is to characterize the One Belt and Road initiative and to describe its impact on China's energy security. Used methods: comparative analysis and synthesis. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the concept of energy security, describes the threats of energy security and further examines the indicators and principles of energy security. The practical part of the work already analyzes the energy sector of the PRC in terms of sub-sectors and further describes the BRI (New Silk Road) initiative and its use for China's energy security. At the same time, the risks of BRI are mentioned, not only from the point of view of China but also from the point of view of other participating countries. The final part of the work mentions the positive and negative aspects of the BRI initiative for the PRC and other countries. |
