Analýza spotřeby a odhad spotřebních funkcí v ČR

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the analysis of consumption and evaluation of consumption functions in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to study the structure of household consumption in the Czech Republic depending on macroeconomic indicators in the period 2000 to 2020. The object of research is the consumption of households in the Czech Republic. The subject of the research is a study of the consumption pattern of households in the Czech Republic. In order to achieve the set goals, the following tasks were solved: the theoretical aspects of consumption and consumption functions were examined; an analysis of the dynamics of consumption and household savings in the Czech Republic was performed; a study of factors influencing household consumption was carried out; a system of indicators for model construction was created; models for empirical research have been defined; the results of an empirical study were presented. When comparing the dynamics of household consumption and savings in the Czech Republic, it was found that there is an increase in household consumption and savings. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, household savings continued to grow, but household consumption declined. The research resulted in two models. The first model contained insignificant variables. The second model had heteroskedasticity, which confirmed the dependence on one of the determined parameters. The methods of statistical analysis, correlation and regression analysis were used in the work.
