Abstrakt:
Nowadays, an automotive industry, due to the significant improvement of technology, have a considerable impact on both world and individual countries economy. For instance, such a prominent automotive concern Skoda Auto a.s has become one of the most vivid and progressive companies of the Czech Republic. This Strategic Analysis consists of several parts, including introduction, theoretical and practical parts, as well as the performance and SWOT analysis, scenario planning and my recommendations as a conclusion. Starting with the introduction, I superficially introduce an importance of the automotive industry these days and Skoda Auto a.s company particularly, while the theoretical part is aimed to show mainly the methodology of my strategic analysis. Then, in the practical part the most crucial economic and social analyses take place. Also, it was crucial to highlight current key performance indicators in the performance analysis part. To assess the future well-being of the company scenario planning was carried out, as well as the main Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats of the Skoda Auto concern were discussed in the following part. After the assessment of all of outcomes, I put my recommendation which I believe will help to improve company’s position in the world market in the nearest future.
