| Abstrakt: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem inflace v České republice a jejích sousedních státech, konkrétně tedy v Německu, Rakousku, Polsku a Slovensku v letech 2006–2022. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda se v dlouhodobém horizontu v ČR vyvíjela inflace stabilněji než v sousedních státech. Teoretická část práce se zabývá definicí inflace jako takové, druhy inflace a také tím, jaké faktory ji ovlivňují. Dále se práce zabývá inflačním cílováním a podrobně popisuje také způsoby měření inflace. Empirická část práce je zaměřena na konkrétní porovnání inflace vybraných zemích Evropské unie s Českou republikou. U vybraných zemí je nejdříve popsán vývoj inflace samostatně a poté také důvod, proč v určitých letech došlo k různým inflačním odchylkám. Poté jsou u jednotlivých států porovnány spotřební koše a jejich konkrétní složení. Na vývoj cen v jednotlivých oddílech spotřebního koše se zaměřuje poslední kapitola, která analyzuje jednotlivé rozdíly u sledovaných zemí. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty hlavní poznatky a důvody, které se podílely na vývoji míry inflace v letech 2006–2022. Hlavním zjištěním je, na základě analyzovaných dat, že inflace se v České republice nevyvíjela stabilněji než v sousedních státech. |

| Abstrakt: | The bachelor thesis deals with the development of inflation in the Czech Republic and its neighboring countries, namely Germany, Austria, Poland and Slovakia in the period 2006-2022. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether inflation in the Czech Republic has been more stable than in the neighboring countries in the long run. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of inflation as such, types of inflation and also what factors influence it. The thesis also deals with inflation targeting and describes in detail the ways of measuring inflation. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on a concrete comparison of inflation in selected European Union countries with the Czech Republic. For the selected countries, the development of inflation is first described separately and then the reason why different inflation deviations occurred in certain years. Then, for each country, the consumer baskets and their specific composition are compared. The last chapter focuses on the evolution of prices in the different sections of the consumer basket, analyzing the individual differences for the countries under consideration. The main findings and reasons that contributed to the development of inflation rates in 2006-2022 are summarized in the conclusion of the thesis. The main finding is that, based on the analyzed data, inflation in the Czech Republic has not developed more stable than in the neighboring countries. |
