Abstrakt:
This thesis examines the influence of motivational factors on job satisfaction and the difference between the public and private sectors. The study aimed to identify the motivational factors driving job satisfaction in these areas and explore the differences in the importance of these factors between the two fields. The study was conducted using a quantitative research method and data were collected from a sample of 400 employees working in the public and private sectors in a specific geographical area. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including regression analysis and independent sample tests. Research results show that intrinsic motivation is more important for job satisfaction in the public sector, while extrinsic factors such as salary and promotion opportunities are more important for job satisfaction. in the private sector. In addition, job stability and interpersonal relationships are found to be more important for job satisfaction in the public sector, while individual achievement and recognition are more important. on job satisfaction in the private sector. The findings of this study have important implications for human resource management practices in both fields. Public sector organizations can focus on job security and opportunities for social interaction and team collaboration to increase job satisfaction. Private sector organizations can prioritize compensation and promotion opportunities, as well as personal recognition and achievement, to increase job satisfaction.
