Abstrakt:
The main goal of this thesis is to the complex world of beverage transportation, concentrating on how long and heavy vehicles (LHV) are used in Europe. The paper examines the difficulties posed by the use of LHVs, covering issues such operational expenses, legal repercussions, and environmental effects. The analysis is guided by two main research questions: (1) Identifying barriers associated with the use of LHV in beverage transportation; and (2) Investigating elements that contribute to balancing sustainability and company satisfaction. The study uses a dual approach that includes expert interviews conducted qualitatively and a theoretical framework. The results show relationships between theoretical understandings and useful solutions, illuminating difficulties and business issues. In summary, the study provides insightful information about the nuances of LHV usage in beverage transportation and presents a detailed picture of industry issues.
