Diplomová práce na téma Souvislost otevřenosti ekonomiky a nerovnosti obyvatelstva v Chile se zabývá především vývojem chilské ekonomiky a souvislosti její otevřenosti a nerovnosti obyvatelstva v zemi. Začátek práce definuje základní informace o Chile, dlouhodobý vývoj chilské ekonomické a politické situace, reformy Chicago Boys v 20. století a vývoj nerovnosti obyvatelstva v zemi. Následující část práce se zabývá zjištěním současné situace v zemi, hlavně sociální stránkou a důvody vysokého sociálního napětí. Později ve stejné části se zabýváme programem reforem presidenta Gabriele Borice, které jsou zaměřené na snížení sociálního napětí, včetně částečného znárodnění těžebních podniků. V poslední části práce je podrobně probrána otázka souvislosti nerovnosti obyvatelstva a otevřenosti ekonomiky. Na konci práci odpovídáme na otázku zda jsou reformy Gabriele Borice schopné, včetně znárodnění, příznivě ovlivnit nerovnost obyvatelstva v Chile.

Abstrakt:
The thesis on the relationship between openness of the economy and inequality of population in Chile deals primarily with the development of Chilean economy and the relationship between its openness and general resident disparities in the country. The beginning of the work defines basic information about Chile, the long-term development of Chilean economic and political situation, the reform of the Chicago Boys in the 20th century and the development of population inequality in the country. The next part of the work deals with the establishment of the current situation in the country, mainly the social side and the reasons for the high social tension. Further in the same section, we look at President Gabriel Boric's reform programme, which is aimed at reducing social tensions, including the partial nationalisation of mining companies. In the final part of the work, the question of the connection between the inequality of the population and the openness of the economy is discussed in detail. At the end of the work, we answer the question whether Gabriel Boric's reforms, including nationalization, are able to favourably affect the inequality amongst the population in Chile.
