Abstrakt:
This thesis explores the factors influencing job satisfaction and engagement of Vietnamese generation Z employees in the hospitality industry which rebounded after the Covid 19 pandemic and continues to interest gen Z workforce’s attraction. Understanding factors that motivate and engage this generation is essential to enhance performance and reduce turnover for businesses. This study focuses on six key factors: work-life balance, leadership, work environment, career opportunities, compensation and benefits and teamwork. A qualitative research method was applied, using semi-structured interviews with gen Z employees working in hotels and resorts that are related to hospitality services. Through the interview’s information, understand how each factor contributes to job satisfaction and engagement of gen Z that affects their willingness to commit to jobs or organizations for the long term. The findings explore valuable insights relevant to the expectations and needs of Vietnamese gen Z workers in the hospitality industry. The result of this study can help hospitality businesses improve HR strategies and create a supportive and motivating work environment that leads to high employee performance with internal practices with gen Z values that can help companies foster a more committed, productive workforce and build a strong foundation for long-term success in a competitive market.
