This thesis identifies a strategic positioning opportunity for the DEUSS platform in the emerging European market for distributed ledger technology (DLT) based security tokens, and proposes a concrete market entry strategy grounded in empirical data and a structured analytical methodology. The central research question is: How should the DEUSS platform position itself in the EU DLT security token market to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage? The analysis proceeds through three methodological layers. First, PESTLE analysis and Porter's Five Forces assess the macroeconomic, regulatory, and structural context of the EU DLT market. Second, a competitive benchmarking using multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) with a weighted scoring model evaluates nine platforms across ten criteria, identifying 21X and Nyala as the two closest reference competitors, and supplementing the results with a four-scenario sensitivity analysis. Third, a positioning map, SWOT/TOWS matrix, and a Competitive Intelligence Early Warning Framework synthesise the findings into recommendations. The key finding is the identification of a structural white space - no existing platform currently combines a pan-EU DLT Pilot Regime license, direct accessibility for SME issuers (deal sizes €40,000--8,000,000), and an operational regulated secondary market. DEUSS's off-chain fiat settlement architecture is identified as the primary mechanism that makes this combination economically viable. The thesis concludes that DEUSS should occupy this white space upon obtaining a DLT TSS license under Regulation (EU)~2022/858, supported by an anchor client strategy, geographic expansion into non-German EU markets, and immediate activation of competitive monitoring. |

Tato diplomová práce identifikuje příležitost ke strategickému postavení platformy DEUSS na rozvíjejícím se evropském trhu s bezpečnostními tokeny založenými na technologii distribuovaných účetních knih (DLT) a navrhuje konkrétní strategii vstupu na trh opírající se o empirická data a strukturovanou analytickou metodologii. Ústřední výzkumná otázka zní: Jak by se měla platforma DEUSS na trhu s bezpečnostními tokeny DLT v EU profilovat, aby dosáhla udržitelné konkurenční výhody? Analýza probíhá ve třech metodologických rovinách. Nejprve analýza PESTLE a Porterových pěti sil posuzují makroekonomický, regulační a strukturální kontext trhu DLT v EU. Dále srovnávací analýza konkurence využívá multikriteriální rozhodovací analýzu (MCDA) s modelem váženého bodování hodnotí devět platforem podle deseti kritérií, přičemž identifikuje 21X a Nyala jako dva nejbližší referenční konkurenty a doplňuje výsledky analýzou citlivosti se čtyřmi scénáři. Poziční mapa, matice SWOT/TOWS a systém včasného varování syntetizují zjištění do praktických doporučení. Klíčovým zjištěním je identifikace strukturální mezery na trhu - žádná stávající platforma v současné době nekombinuje licenci v rámci celoevropského pilotního režimu DLT, přímou dostupnost pro emitenty z řad malých a středních podniků (velikost transakcí €40 000–8 000 000) a funkční regulovaný sekundární trh. Architektura vypořádání ve fiat měně mimo řetězec společnosti DEUSS je identifikována jako primární mechanismus, který činí tuto kombinaci ekonomicky životaschopnou. Závěr práce je, že DEUSS by měl tuto mezeru zaplnit po získání licence DLT TSS podle nařízení (EU)~2022/858, a to s podporou strategie klíčových klientů, geografické expanze na trhy EU mimo Německo a okamžitého zahájení sledování konkurence. |
