| Abstract: |
Tato práce analyzuje faktory ovlivňující volební podporu populistických stran na úrovni obcí v České republice se zaměřením na jejich prostorové rozložení. Využívá kombinaci exploratorní analýzy prostorových dat a ekonometrických modelů, které umožňují zohlednit prostorovou závislost mezi jednotkami. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována roli socioekonomických, demografických a historických charakteristik, včetně vlivu specifického vývoje v oblastech bývalých Sudet. Výsledky potvrzují, že podpora populistických stran vykazuje výraznou prostorovou autokorelaci a je významně ovlivněna faktory, jako je vzdělanostní struktura obyvatelstva, míra zadluženosti a demografické charakteristiky obcí. Analýza dále ukazuje, že prostorový kontext a charakter sousedství hrají při formování volebních preferencí významnou roli. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis analyzes the factors influencing electoral support for populist parties at the municipal level in the Czech Republic, with a focus on their spatial distribution. It employs a combination of exploratory spatial data analysis and econometric models, which allow for the consideration of spatial dependence between units. Particular attention is paid to the role of socioeconomic, demographic, and historical characteristics, including the impact of the specific historical development of former Sudeten regions. The results confirm that support for populist parties exhibits significant spatial autocorrelation and is strongly influenced by factors such as the educational structure of the population, levels of indebtedness, and demographic characteristics of municipalities. The analysis further shows that spatial context and neighborhood effects play an important role in shaping electoral preferences. |
