| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou penzijního systému v Brazílii v letech 2014 až 2024. Teoretická část prostřednictvím metody literární rešerše popisuje základní modely penzijních systémů, způsoby jejich financování, konstrukci důchodových dávek, pilířové uspořádání podle metodiky Světové banky a teorii životního cyklu spojovanou zejména s Modiglianim. Dále se věnuje historickému vývoji a současnému stavu penzijního systému v Brazílii a současné podobě penzijního systému v Chile. Praktická část pomocí metody analýzy hodnotí vývoj brazilského penzijního systému před reformou z roku 2019 a po jejím přijetí, zejména z hlediska příjmů, výdajů, deficitu, demografických a makroekonomických faktorů. Součástí práce je také komparace s chilským penzijním systémem, která umožňuje zasadit brazilský systém do širšího latinskoamerického kontextu. Práce dochází k závěru, že reforma z roku 2019 představovala významný krok ke zpřísnění pravidel a omezení některých nerovností mezi jednotlivými režimy, avšak nevyřešila všechny fiskální a strukturální problémy brazilského systému. Přidanou hodnotou práce je propojení finanční analýzy brazilského systému s komparací odlišného chilského modelu, což ukazuje, že brazilský systém poskytuje vyšší míru sociální ochrany, ale za cenu vyšší fiskální náročnosti, zatímco chilský systém méně zatěžuje veřejné finance, avšak přenáší větší část rizik na jednotlivce. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the pension system in Brazil between 2014 and 2024. The theoretical part uses the method of literature review to describe the basic models of pension systems, their methods of financing, the design of pension benefits, the pillar structure according to the World Bank methodology, and the life-cycle theory associated mainly with Modigliani. It also examines the historical development and current structure of the pension system in Brazil, as well as the current form of the pension system in Chile. The practical part uses the method of analysis to evaluate the development of the Brazilian pension system before and after the 2019 reform, particularly in terms of revenues, expenditures, deficit and demographic and macroeconomic factors. The thesis also includes a comparison with the Chilean pension system, which makes it possible to place the Brazilian system within a broader Latin American context. The thesis concludes that the 2019 reform represented an important step towards tightening the rules and reducing some inequalities between individual schemes, but it did not resolve all fiscal and structural problems of the Brazilian system. The added value of the thesis lies in linking the financial analysis of the Brazilian system with a comparison of the different Chilean model, showing that the Brazilian system provides a higher level of social protection, but at the cost of greater fiscal pressure, while the Chilean system places a lower burden on public finances but transfers a larger share of risks to individuals. |
