| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje ekonomickým aspektům prostituce. V úvodu se stručně zabývá historií jednoho z nejstarších řemesel na světě a jeho postavením ve společnosti. Práce nahlíží na pojem prostituce z pohledu ekonomie jako na možnou svobodnou volbu jednání, na svobodné rozhodování jedince o sebe sama a zacházení se svým tělem, jak uzná za vhodné. Dále se snaží zmapovat fungování trhu prostituce, na kterém dochází k obchodu mezi dospělými lidmi, kde předmětem je sex a poukázat na faktory, které mohou ovlivňovat jednotlivé subjekty na tomto trhu, tedy nabídku a poptávku po volném sexu za peníze. Okrajově se práce zabývá popisem jednotlivých segmentů trhu prostituce (privátní, pouliční, noční kluby, escort) a přibližuje roli třetí strany obchodu -- prostředníků. Zaměřuje se na alternativní přístupy vlád k prostituci (prohibice, legalizace) a snaží se analyzovat jejich dopady z hlediska ekonomického a sociálního nejen na trh prostituce, ale i na vedlejší efekty, které se k němu váží např. obchod s lidmi, násilí, šíření pohlavních chorob. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor essay concentrates on the economic aspect of prostitution. At the beginning the essay briefly deals with history of one of the oldest professions in the world and its position in society. The essay thinks of the notion of prostitution from the point of view of economics as a possible free choice of behaviour, free decision making of an individual and using his own body as he thinks that it is acceptable. Then the essay tries to study how the market for prostitution, where the adults make a business with sex, operates and which factors can influence particular subjects on this market -- supply and demand for free sex for money. Marginally the essay is interested in description of several segments of prostitution market (private, streetwalking, night clubs, escort) and the role of the third part of business -- mediators. The main point of view concentrates on alternative policy of the government (prohibition, legalization) and analyzing not only the economic and social impact of these policies on the prostitution market but also the other effects which are jointed with prostitution - trade with human beings, violation, spreading of sexually transmitted diseases. |
