| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá pracovními licencemi v oblasti překladů a tlumočení -- soudními tlumočníky. Soudní tlumočnictví je službou, která je využívána soukromými i státními subjekty při potřebě soudního tlumočení či překladu. Toto tlumočení či překlad je vyhotoveno soudními tlumočníky, které jmenuje stát. Podmínky pro jmenování soudním tlumočníkem jsou dány zákonem. Zjednodušeně je garantováno, že překlad či tlumočení vyhotovený státem jmenovaným soudním tlumočníkem odpovídá původnímu originálnímu textu. Překlad či tlumočení je opatřeno razítkem soudního tlumočníka, které je pak možno použít pro jednání s úřady apod. V této práci se zaobírám legislativním rámcem soudního tlumočení, ekonomickým zdůvodnění pracovních licencí a praktických zkušeností překladatelských agentur, jež využívají služeb soudních tlumočníků. Oslovila jsem celkově 44 překladatelských agentur formou dotazníků a díky tomuto jsem mohla reálně zhodnotit jejich zkušenosti. Mimo těchto agentur jsem oslovila i všechny Krajské soudy, které mají zákonnou pravomoc jmenovat soudní tlumočníky, abych zjistila i jejich přístup k výkladu zákona. V závěru shrnuji veškeré zjištěné teoretické i praktické zkušenosti a přínos své práce. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the issue of working licences for sworn interpreters. Sworn interpretation is a service used in both the private and the state spheres when there is a need for sworn interpreting or translation. The interpreting work or translation is then performed by sworn interpreters appointed by the state. The conditions for appointing a sworn interpreter are subject to legislation. However, concisely speaking the service guarantees that the translation or interpreting work performed by a state-appointed sworn interpreter conforms to the original text. The translation or interpreting work is furnished with the sworn interpreter's personal seal, and can then be used during dealings with the authorities and so on. In this work I have examined the legislative framework of sworn interpreting, the economic justification for the working licences and the practical experience of translation agencies that make use of the services of sworn interpreters. I have contacted a total of 44 translation agencies through questionnaires and this has allowed me to make a genuine assessment of their experience. In addition to these agencies I have also contacted all the regional courts with powers to appoint sworn interpreters in order to ascertain their approach to the interpretation of legislation as it stands. In the conclusion I summarise all the theoretical and practical experience I have uncovered and the contribution of my work. |
