| Abstract: | První polovina roku 2009 bude ve znamení českého předsednictví Evropské unii. Na šest měsíců se Česká republika stane mluvčím a zástupcem pro všechny členské státy. Obsahem této práce je analýza probíhajících příprav, zhodnocení, zda jsou přípravy, mediální prezentace, ale i celková informovanost občanů adekvátní. |

| Abstract: | The first half of the year 2009 is devoted to the presidency of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is going to represent all the member countries for the first six months on the international scale. The intent of the thesis is to analyse the running preparatory works; to evaluate the adequacy of the preparations, media campaign and the awareness among the people. |
