| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na regionální politiku Evropské unie. Komplexně charakterizuje její cíle, principy, mechanismy a finanční nástroje. Zároveň se věnuje její aplikaci na území České republiky. Konkrétně se jedná o středočeskou obec Nová Ves I, kde jsou představeny dva místní projekty. Práce si klade několik cílů: představit principy regionální politiky, systém strukturálních a jiných fondů a možnosti jejich čerpání, dále zjistit, zda obyvatelé obce Nová Ves I vědí o prostředcích financování, do jaké míry jsou s čerpáním alokací plynoucích z Evropské unie obeznámeni a v neposlední řadě uvést, jakým způsobem plynoucí dotace zkvalitňují život občanů a přispívají k zvyšování atraktivity obce v oblasti cestovního ruchu. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is devoted to regional politics of the European Unnion. It characterizes its aims, principals, mechanisms, and financial instruments. It also focuses on its application on the area of the Czech Republic. It particularly concerns the town of Nová Ves I where two local projects are presented. The aims of the thesis are as follows: to introduce the basics of the regional politics, of the system of the structural and other funds, and the possibilities of their usage; to find out whether the inhabitants of Nová Ves I know about the means of funding; to what extent they are aware of the usage of the allocations from the European Union; and to present the ways in which the funds improve the inhabitants'lives and how they contribute to a higher level of attractiveness of the town in the are of tourism. |
