| Abstract: | Cílem mé bakalářské práce je vypracovat finanční analýzu společnosti Lafarge Cement, a.s. za období 2002 -- 2007, se zaměřením na kvalitní benchmarking. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. První část popisuje použitou metodologii, druhá část obsahuje praktickou aplikaci metodologie na zkoumanou společnost. Praktická část neobsahuje pouze finanční analýzu zkoumané společnosti, ale také její srovnání se třemi nejbližšími konkurenty. Vyústěním mé práce jsou doporučení společnosti, která vyplývají z uvedené finanční a benchmarkingové analýzy. |

| Abstract: | The goal of my Bachelor thesis is to elaborate financial analysis of the company Lafarge Cement, a.s. for the years 2002 -- 2007 focusing detailed benchmarking. The thesis is divided into two basic chapters. The first chapter describes methodology, the second chapter includes the practical application of the methodology on the company being subject of the study. Practical part doesn't include only the financial analysis of the company being subject of the study but as well it's comparison with its three closest competitors. The result of my work contains recommendations to the company ensuing from the financial and benchmarking analysis performed and described herein. |
