| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu multikulturalismu ve Francii a ve Velké Británii. Tyto dvě srovnávané země mají k multikulturalismu velmi odlišný, v některých záležitostech opačný přístup. Práce se zabývá přístupem těchto dvou zemí a jejich rozdíly. V první části práce je obecná charakteristika koncepce multikulturalismu, v druhé je analýza každé ze zkoumaných zemí. Analýza je zaměřena jak na historické tradice a hodnoty ovlivňující přístup k multikulturalismu, tak na současnou situaci, každodenní život v těchto zemích ovlivňovaný multikulturalismem a na vývoj do budoucnosti. Třetí část práce je věnována multikulturalismu ve vzdělávací praxi a školství, protože školství je jednou z nejdůležitějších oblastí pro začleňování imigrantů do většinové společnosti. Tři srovnávací studie se věnují výuce jazyků ve školách ve Francii a ve Velké Británii, předmětu občanské výchovy a jeho osnovám ve školách v zemích a politickému rozhodování a jeho prioritám se zaměřením na vzdělávací systém. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis applies to the theme of Multiculturalism in France and Great Britain. These two compared states have very different, in some cases opposite approach to multiculturalism. Diploma thesis deals with the approach of these two countries and their differences. In the first part of the work there is a general characteristic of the conception of multiculturalism, in the second part there is an analysis of each of the surveyed coutries. Analysis is focused on the historical traditions and values, which influence the approach to multiculturalism, then on the current situation, everyday life in these countries influenced by multiculturalism and the progress in the future. The third part of the work is dedicated to multiculturalism in education experience and educational system, because education is one of the most important section for integration of immigrants into the majority society. Three comparative studies are dedicated to teaching of languages in the schools in France and Great Britain, subject of civics and its sylabuses in the schools in the countries and political decisions and their priorities with the focus on educational system. |
