| Abstract: | Kapitálové trhy jsou významnou složkou každé tržní ekonomiky. Po přechodu z centrálně plánované na tržní ekonomiku byly v zemích střední a východní Evropy zakládány a obnovovány burzovní trhy. Mezi tyto země patří i dnešní Česká republika a Slovinsko. Cílem této práce je charakterizovat a srovnat Burzu cenných papírů v Praze a Ljubljanskou Borzu dle vybraných kritérií. Mezi srovnávací kritéria patří zejména historie obou trhů, organizační struktura, principy a podmínky členství, způsoby obchodování, tržní segmenty, burzovní indexy a další statistické údaje. |

| Abstract: | Capital markets are an important part of every free market economy. After the transformation from a centrally planned economy to a free market economy, capital markets were founded and re-established in many central and eastern European countries. The Czech Republic and Slovenia belong among those countries. The main aim of this thesis is to characterize and compare the Prague Stock Exchange and Ljubljana Stock Exchange in various terms. Those terms include the history of both exchanges, the organization, principles and conditions of membership, ways of trading, market segmentation, exchange indices and other statistics. |
