| Abstract: | Obsahem této práce je zhodnocení využitelnosti finanční analýzy v praxi. Nejprve je pojednáváno o teorii finanční analýzy, kde jsou na základě literatury definovány ukazatele a dále konstrukce jejich výpočtu. Následně je pak tato teorie konfrontována s poznatky z praxe. Aplikační část práce je zaměřena na automobilový průmysl, kde je provedena finanční analýza konkrétního prodejce automobilů v ČR s pomocí systému řízení prodejců, který využívá společnost Import Volkswagen Group, s.r.o. Tento prodejce je srovnáván se skupinou podobných prodejců. Na základě provedené finanční analýzy a zkušeností z praxe je závěrem práce potvrzení předpokladu, že finanční analýza je nepostradatelnou součástí při řízení obchodních aktivit a základním aspektem při rozhodování managementu. |

| Abstract: | The content of this thesis is to evaluate the usability of financial analysis in practice. First, it described the theory of financial analysis, which are defined on the basis of literature and design characteristics of their calculation. Subsequently, this theory is confronted with the knowledge of the practice. Application of the thesis is focused on the automotive industry, where it is carried out financial analysis of a particular car dealer in the Czech Republic with the assistance of business management system, which uses the Import Volkswagen Group Ltd. This dealer is compared with a group of similar dealers. On the basis of the financial analysis and experience from practice is the conclusion of thesis certificate, provided that financial analysis is an indispensable component in the management of commercial activities and an essential factor in deciding management. |
