| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje transformačnímu procesu pobaltských republik a jejich integraci do Evropské unie od počátku 90. let, kdy země získaly nezávislosti, až po jejich vstup do Unie v roce 2004. Ve dvou méně detailních oddílech pak práce představuje Estonsko, Lotyšsko a Litvu po obecné stránce a v historickém kontextu a rozebírá jejich regionální spolupráci. |

| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on the transition and the EU integration process of the Baltic States since their independence in the beginning of the 1990s until they joined the EU in 2004. Two less detailed parts introduce Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania from general and historical point of view and analyze their regional cooperation. |
