| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je podat ucelený a souhrnný pohled na investiční bankovnictví od dob jeho vzniku až po současnost ve Spojených státech amerických a České republice. Při charakteristice historického vývoje investičního bankovnictví se v práci vychází zejména ze zákonů, které mají či měly vliv na tuto oblast. Hlavní důraz je kladen na současnou situaci, která je ovlivněná finanční krizí. Jsou zde uvedeny příčiny jejího vzniku, průběh, reakce vlád a centrálních bank na vzniklou situaci a možnosti budoucího vývoje ekonomik. Vše je doplněno o základní pojmy, které charakterizují oblast investičního bankovnictví. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of this thesis is to give comprehensive and overall look on investment banking from it's origin till present in the United States of America and the Czech Republic. During the characterization of historical development of investment banking is coming out especially from acts, which affected or still affecting this area. The main attention is put to present situation, which is involved by financial crisis. There are mentioned the reasons of it's birth, process, the reactions of govermnent and central banks and possibilities of it's future progression. All this is completed by basic definitions, which describe the area of investment banking. |
