| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá investicemi do profesionálních sportovních klubů. Rozebírá přínosy a dopady příchodu zahraničních investorů na fungování a hospodaření profesionálních fotbalových mužstev. Zkoumá rovněž motivy, které vedou zahraniční investory ke koupi předních evropských klubů kopané. Praktická část práce přináší rozbor šesti vybraných celků anglické fotbalové Premier League pro odhalení společných rysů a odlišností v přístupech novodobých vlastníků k jejich sportovním klubům. Pozornost je věnována i investicím na trhu hráčů a do sportovní infrastruktury. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with investments in professional sports clubs. It analyses contributions and impacts of foreign investors' approach on professional football clubs' operations and economy. It also examines motives that give foreign investors reason for buying top European football clubs. The main part of the thesis provides an analysis of six selected football teams from English Premier League to discover common features and differences in modern owners' approaches to their sports clubs. Investments on players' transfer markets and into sports facilities are being discussed as well. |
