| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je zejména zhodnotit vývoj celosvětového trhu specializovaných nástrojů Business Intelligence v několika posledních letech a identifikovat hlavní trendy, které na trhu v současné době existují. Tato analýza trhu se přitom zakládá na studiu informačních zdrojů, většinou volně dostupných na Internetu. Přínosem této práce je analýza a sumarizace získaných informací s přispěním vlastních úvah a komentářů. Tato práce by mohla být pomyslným odrazovým můstkem pro zájemce o problematiku BI, kteří disponují alespoň základním povědomím o principech BI, a chtějí se relativně snadno a rychle dozvědět o aktuální situaci a vývojových trendech na celosvětovém trhu Business Intelligence. V úvodu práce je čtenář ve stručnosti uveden do kontextu BI, následuje přehled zásadních komponent BI s uvedením hlavních dodavatelů, dále pak je obsahem charakteristika možných výběrových kritérií řešení BI. Jádrem práce je analýza vývoje trhu BI platforem a současných trendů. Na závěr je představena hlavní nabídka předních dodavatelů. |

| Abstract: | The goal of this bachelor's thesis is especially to review the evolution of the worldwide Business Intelligence market during a couple of recent years and also to identify the main trends present on the market. This analysis is based on research of the information sources mainly available on the Internet free of charge. Analysis and summarization of the acquired information with contribution of one's own considerations and commentaries is the benefit of this thesis. This paper can be considered a starting point for those who are interested in BI topic and want to know about the development of the worldwide Business Intelligence market relatively quickly. Any essential knowledge concerning the principles of BI is expected. In the opening part the reader is provided with the BI context then follows the overview of the core BI components and the main vendors, the next part is concerned about possible selection criteria. The core of the thesis deals with BI market development analysis and current trends identification. Eventually there is an overview of the core offering of the leading vendors. |
