| Abstract: | První kapitola obsahuje základní charakteristiku ostrova Mauricius, která kromě geografických informací o poloze, povrchu a klimatu obsahuje historii a popis jednotlivých etnických skupin, náboženství a jazyků, které se na Mauriciu vyskytují. Druhá kapitola popisuje podnikatelské prostředí a podmínky pro podnikání. V úvodu je charakterizována současná ekonomické situace země, dále se zabývá podmínkami pro založení firmy, daňovým systémem a výhodami offshore společností. Obsahem poslední kapitoly jsou kulturní a obchodní zvyklosti na ostrově Mauricius. |

The second chapter is concerned with the business environment, conditions for starting a new business, tax system and the advantages of offshore companies. The last chapter describes common business practices and etiquette on Mauritius. |
