| Abstract: | Diplomová práce Energetický potenciál Střední Asie si klade za cíl zhodnotit míru potenciálu tohoto regionu jako dodavatele energetických surovin. V první části jsou shrnuty základní trendy v oblasti spotřeby a produkce energetických surovin. Ve druhé části jsou stručně představeny ty země středoasijského regionu, které disponují ve světovém měřítku nezanedbatelnými zásobami ropy a zemního plynu. Třetí část se podrobněji zabývá zásobami ropy a zemního plynu, nejprve v celosvětovém měřítku, následně podrobněji pro každou zemi zvlášť. Čtvrtá část popisuje možnosti přepravy energetických surovin z oblasti Střední Asie na spotřebitelské trhy v západní Evropě, Číně a Indii. Pátá kapitola se na závěr stručně věnuje charakteristice vztahů, které mají ke středoasijskému regionu hlavní světové a regionální mocnosti. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis called Energy Potential of Central Asia aims to assess the potential of this region as a supplier of resources of energy. In the first part the basic trends in the area of consumption and production of energy resources are summarized. In the second part the countries of Central Asia region disposing of extensive oil and gas reserves are briefly introduced. The third part describes in detail the oil and gas reserves, firstly considering the whole world and secondly for each of the countries independently. The fourth part describes the options of transport of the energy supplies from Central Asia to consumers' markets in Western Europe, China and India. The last part deals shortly with characterization of approach of the major world and regional powers to this area. |
