| Abstract: | Tato práce hodnotí připravenost České republiky na přijetí společné měny euro z hlediska nominální i reálné ekonomické konvergence. V první části je nastíněna historie vzniku Evropské hospodářské a měnové unie. Druhá část popisuje jednotlivá maastrichtská kritéria a hodnotí jejich plnění Českou republikou. Třetí část se zabývá mírou reálné konvergence české ekonomiky k ekonomice eurozóny. |

| Abstract: | This thesis assesses the preparedness of the Czech republic for adopting the single currency euro in terms of nominal and real economic convergence. In the first part there is outlined the history of the establishment of the European economic and monetary union. The second part describes single maastricht convergence criteria and evaluates their fulfilment by the Czech republic. The third part deals with the real economic convergence of the czech economy towards euro area. |
