| Abstract: | Práce analyzuje ekonomické vztahy Mexika v rámci integračního uskupení NAFTA a porovnává je s těmi, které má s Evropskou unií. Spojené státy americké, Kanada a Evropská unie jsou pro Mexiko nejdůležitějšími obchodními partnery, proto pro něj dohody uzavřené s těmito mocnostmi hrají zásadní roli v jeho vnějších ekonomických vztazích. Cílem práce je porovnat tyto vzájemné vztahy a zjistit jaký vliv mají uzavřené dohody na Mexiko. První kapitola představuje mexickou ekonomiku jako takovou. Druhá kapitola se věnuje postavení Mexika v rámci NAFTA a jeho možným perspektivám. Stejný cíl je pokládán i ve vztahu s Evropskou unií ve třetí kapitole. Důraz je kladen na obchodní a investiční vztahy. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on Mexico's economic relations within regional grouping NAFTA in comparison with ties to the European Union. The United States, Canada and the European Union are the most important Mexico's trade partners, therefore agreements with these powers play a very important role in Mexico's external relations. The aim of this thesis is to compare these economic relations and study the impact of the agreements on Mexico. Chapter one presents the mexican economy and its characteristics. Chapter two focuses on the Mexico's position within NAFTA and its potencial perspectives. The same aim is used in chapter three, that examines the relations with the European Union. Emphasis is put on trade and investment relations. |
